• You can use an HDMI cable. That is what I am using and it is great.

• You don't say what connection is on your laptop, but this monitor will connect to most any laptop that has VGA or HDMI. This monitor includes a VGA cable, but if your laptop has only HDMI you just need to purchase an HDMI cable to connect.
