Does this ssd have a heatsink included? null

It has a heat spreader and it functions similar to a heat sink. I suggest purchasing a heat sink and using it. You've spent a lot of money on the device and got a great deal on the Internal SSD. Using an actual Heat Sink will help insure You get maximum bang for the money spent.

It has a heat spreader which works much the same but is different. The heat spreader is like a flat cookie sheet that sits on the chips where the hear is generated. Then the fan from your internal enclosure or whatever.. Blows at this cookie sheet and dissapates the heat. Now heat sinks differ in one way. It also sits on top of the chip or around it. And there is "fin" that protrude upward , cookie sheet that is horizonal ane diagnol. The heat goes to the flat cookie sheet. Then proceeds to go up the fins or diagnol cookie sheet. Which the heat - sinks.. Or gets pulled further away from the chip And then.. The fan blows air and disspapites the heat.. So basically. Its a extra layer of heat management. Which prolongs the life of the equipment. By a very bit. Depends on your enviroment. If you live in the desert.. Heat sink but i dont think it matters because your indoor with the a.c on. And it would only be like 3 or 5 degrees difference And these things get to like 50 to 65 celsisus. Depending on if you are in a cool room Also.. The reason for hear management is this: When you turn on the computer.. The chips heat up. Thus heat expands the chip.. Then.. When you turn it off.. It cools down This repeated up and down.. Creates expansion anr contraction Not a big deal. But.. With variance and time.. It slowly erodes the material. Like the street concrete.. It slowly creates micro fractures. Because molecules expand and reconnect Its a small amount.. So these things last like 3 to 5 years of use. Kinda like your underwear or shirt Normal wear and tear or after you wear it.. Its loose and comfy.. Then when you stick it in the dryer.. It comes out rigid or stiff.

Basic heatsink included. The heatsink will work in a PS5.

Yes it does. Just remove the adhesive protection and apply the heat sink to the side of the drive with exposed chips.
