heatsink has adhesive. just peal paper off and press heatsink on

No, just peel off the heatsink and stick it on drive. I’ve had mine for awhile and it works great for PS5.

I didn't. The tape/glue that was on the heat sink worked just fine for me.

The heat sink includes an adhesive backing and can be attached out of the box.

The heatsink included has a preattached sticky foam pad underneath that you can peel and apply to the SSD directly. All included.

No theres is a adhesive strip padding that attaches the heatsink to harddrive pre-attached to heatsink inside box.
