• No, just peel off the heatsink and stick it on drive. I’ve had mine for awhile and it works great for PS5.

• The heat sink includes an adhesive backing and can be attached out of the box.

• The heatsink included has a preattached sticky foam pad underneath that you can peel and apply to the SSD directly. All included.

• No theres is a adhesive strip padding that attaches the heatsink to harddrive pre-attached to heatsink inside box.
