Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You can use your own seeds. Aerogarden has empty pod kit for that purpose. Of course please research which plants can grow in hydroponics. Potatoes obviously won't work.. Organic is weird term not fully compatible with hydroponics. You can use seeds from organically grown plants. But nutrients aka food used in hydroponics is rarely if ever "organic" because it is base elements. For example if plant needs 5% iron and 3% boron... those are elements not organics. Organic from my understanding means grown without synthetic fertilizer in other words organic compost and manure. Hydroponics doesn't use synthetic fertilizer used in soil farming and it doesn't use organic matter either.. You can use organic, non-GMO seed, no pesticides, no irradiation/radiation, etc... Hydroponics is better than organic. Soil hosts pests and diseases. Hydroponics is inert and sterile. E coli is common in soil and very rare in hydroponics.
