You can grow tons of different things - currently I have lettuce on one side and herbs on the other. For larger plants like tomatoes/peppers I’d recommend sticking to just those rather than growing with other things at the same time

You can grow veggies and herbs in the Harvest Elite Slim. I'm growing Tomatoes in my Harvest Elite, and I've been harvesting them for about 9 months straight. There are certain vegetable plants that we do recommend growing in the Bounty or Farm models, due to their increased height. Yes. You can buy their "empty" pods and plant your own seeds or buy the pods already implanted with lettuce, tomatoes etc.
