I am not sure which model device you have but my aftershock has the magnetic clip for the charging input but if you have the type of device that has the micro plug the reason is not charging is because there is a small piece in the middle of the micro charging tip on the aftershock that may be bent and the cable is not fully seated. This happened to my wife’s Bluetooth aftershock devices because that Little piece in the female side which is actually on the actor shot head bent you may be able to straighten it out using a small paper clip but be very careful when you are trying to push that centerpiece up so that it may sit perfectly in the middle. Once this is done it will charge as usual but you have to be very careful with plugging in the micro charging tip
