Is is this water resistant? null

They say water resistant but that has been the problem with my husbands. He sweats cause of the career he has and it gets on headphone microphone and after a while they start to sound muffled. So I would say it depends on the amount of fluid it consumes.

On the new model, the mic is water resistant. NOT waterproof.
