Q: QuestionHow to use them
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer I hated behind-the-ear hearing aids with tubes to the ear canal, so I switched to tiny Eargo in-canal units. But they are too small for bluetooth electronics. My audiologist recommended Aftershokz which do not interfere with anything placed in the ear. They rest below the temples, in front of the ear. Now, I have great hearing aids for normal (air transmitted) audio, and I have bluetooth reception for phone calls and streaming radio/music. The Aftershokz far exceed my expectations. The microphone is very good, too. Reportedly, it sounds like I am speaking in a car, but it is clear and better than I expected. Already bought a 2nd pair as a gift.

Q: QuestionHow would these type headphones work for riding a motorcycle? Being able to hear traffic would be a definite plus. And would the noise cancelling microphone still work correctly if you were at highway speeds?
Asked by Adamizer1998.
- A:Answer Id be iffy on this one. When I've been running, next to traffic and with wind in my ears, it would be hard for folks to hear me. Not sure how it would work if you cut the wind with, say, a helmet and such. But at least my pair picked up background noise too... just recently my Dad had to hang up on me because he could hear a baby crying 4 aisles away from me when I was at Costco.

Q: QuestionHow is the sound the mic picks up on calls? My last set of headphones had a mic near the ear and the road noise it picked up made it worthless for phone calls while in the car.
Asked by Makerjane.
- A:Answer I was walking outside with 30 mph winds and my husband thought I was sitting in my office! I was then talking to him in the car and the reception as well as the transmission was amazing.
