• There are no "earbuds" the "speakers" rest on your jaw bone directly in front of your ear. The "speaker" cover is plastic and according to AfterShokz, there is NO LATEX on the product.

• Not sure, but I am latex sensitive. I do not have an all out allergy, but after working in a hospital for 30 years, I switched to Latex free gloves as my hands were always a mess after wearing Latex gloves. There was nothing on the box that said that there was any Latex in the covering.
