Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.air cooled stock with weak cpu fan and top fan. needs to upgrade to liquid cooled. Corsair H60 or H75 fits this perfectly. H75 was made to fit the case without any mods needed.

Turned out that one of the cable bundles was being pressed against the cpu fan by the power supply. In this design, the power supply swings out to give access to the internals. You have to be careful when closing to ensure that cables aren't pushed into anything critical. Since then, the noise is really no different that other systems that I have had. Actually, pretty quiet most times; the only exceptions are when the fans ramp up to meet demand and then it is only temporary.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Lunar Light 9700 (NOT the k-overclocked variant) is only Air cooled, but I can say the thermal design has been re-engineered and it was never an issue for me. BIOS update fixed a noise fan for me. Power Supply is 850w.
