I have one and its always runs hot, you have to put the fans in maximun all day. In that area am verrrry disappointed
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. It even comes with an Alienware program where you can set fan speeds per game or ramp the up or down as you wish. You have complete control over the fans. I have run a few games that tend to tax computers and found the heat to never run over 70 even on ultra. Once I felt some heat on the case, I simply went to the Alienware program and set the fan to full and it cooled off in about 3 seconds (no kidding, it was as cool as if off that fast). If you use the Alienware program that comes with it, you should never have heat issues.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It does get very warm. There are very powerful fans inside and although well designed I would recommend a laptop cooler base to help out, they can be very cheap.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This model has gone through rigorous quality checks and any unusual heating is not detected. Should you need assistance with any isolated incidents, please reach out to the Dell technical support team. They will diagnose the issue and work with you to sort it out.
