Hi Bob - Happy to help! You can power on the Baby Boom XL by pressing and holding the power button a top the speaker for 5 seconds. A welcome message will sound noting that it is indeed powering on. If you need to charge the speaker first, please locate a micro USB plug and plug the speaker into a wall outlet to charge for 2-3 hours!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You power it on by holding down the power button on the top (which looks like a broken circle with a line in the gap) for a few seconds. When it powers on, a blue light should come on, and a voice says "powering on". If that doesn't happen, then the battery is dead. To charge the battery, you need to open the oval-shaped rubber plug at the bottom of the speaker and use a cord to connect it to a charging plug.
