Actually it has 4 speakers. Hi and low range on both sides. Worth a listen.

This model has two drivers, individual speakers.

I have model IMW579S and there is 2 speakers on each side. It seems to be a mini-woofer and a tweeter. Really great unidirectional speaker that fills the space amazingly.
