• For the mid-sized water, resistant products the sound is great, with great bass. A full sized unit may be better but would be much less portable. This could easily be hidden in a locker.

• I don't think it would be ideal for poolside its more of a personal space speaker. I also own a Harman/Kardon speaker and I think it would work much better for you.

• It has surprisingly good sound to be so small. Lots of videos on YouTube were they break down the sound and features.
