• You don't have to, but if photos are coming from the phone app then it's best if it's connected. Photos will stay on the server for 12-24 hours, so if you connect within that timeframe of when photos were sent they should come in. Photos can also be uploaded from a 32GB or smaller SD card or USB thumb drive. Use .jpg format for photos.

• You do need WIFI if you are sending photos from the phone app or via email. If you are using a 32GB SD card or USB thumb drive, or USB to computer, then you do not need WIFI turned on.

• Yes I believe so. We left it plugged in and connected while we uploaded everything so we could see them pop up
