“I want to transmit sound from TV to sound bar AND 1 headphone at same time. Was told that on many new TV's that the sound cuts off to TV speaker as soon as you plug in to headset or optical audio jacks.Would this transmit to soundbar & headset same time?”

I do not know if this will work for you specific TV and sound bar, however I do have mine set up to where the audio out from the TV is going to the sound bar via an optical cable. I also have the Bluetooth device plugged into the AUX out port on the TV. I can get audio out from the TV to both headphones and the sound bar at the same time with no sound delay. Of course, perhaps some other models of TV's would not allow this, but it is possible since it works just fine for me. Hope this helped.
