“Does anyone have experience with using this to wirelessly connect a sound system to a cellphone that is being used to stream a church service or similar? Internet is not available so we stream via a cellphone. Hoping to improve the sound quality. Thanks!”

I don't have experience with that specific use, but I tried it in church as an in-ear monitor using wireless earbuds while playing guitar. The problem was that it had about a 1/2 second delay from when I'd play or sing to when I'd hear it in my ears. Very disorienting. I'd wonder if the singing/preaching and sound would not be synced in your usage. Just a thought.
