UPDATE: In sonos application, there is settings to correct lip syn issues. I had to set them to the max limit, but the problem has been corrected. I had to use this setup due to location of the components (Using a projector outside, sonos amp in media closet)

I am assuming you are using HDMI to your TV so I would connect the transmitter to the TV's audio output to the amplifier. Or have you tried the using the BT receiver with another speakers as Sonos amp might be causing the delay as well.
