Where does this plug into the stereo? null

If you are pairing your phone to the ABC01F then be sure the unit is in RX mode for receiving. Always turn off when changing modes. Turn on and pair to the phone. Then connect the audio cable from the Aluratek to a stereo INPUT and then set the stereo to that input. ----->>>>> If you are transmitting your TV to the stereo, then your stereo would need to be a Bluetooth enabled device, you would connect the TV output (headphone jack or RCA out to the ABC01F and it needs to be in TX mode for transmitting, then pair the ABC01F to your stereo via Bluetooth. Contact support@aluratek.com for more details or trouble shooting.
