Yes, this device can be used with a car stereo!

Yes, providing that you have an auxiliary (3.5mm input) receptacle. EXAMPLE: If you want to stream from a cell phone, or play something from a Bluetooth enabled tablet, place the BT in receive mode, pair with your device, plug the 3.5mm jack into the auxiliary receptacle and place your stereo on auxiliary audio. Voila. (NOTE: If audio is poor or inaudible, check not only your stereo's volume, but also the streaming/transmitting device's volume). I have streamed talk radio through my vehicle's radio many times in this way when I was in an area with no radio reception at all.)
