Yes, I think that this situation would be a good application of this HDMI extender. However, if you do not add a HDMI splitter, it would require cable changes to change between watching the TV in the bedroom and the TV outside.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No this would not be possible. Most TVs do not come with HDMI for OUTPUT. Just HDMI for INPUT. So the TX unit with the Streamcast pro has to be connected to something that allows OUTPUT, like a computer. Plus, even if you connect directly to a cable box they tend to block or filter their signal. You can try, but I don't think this will work from TV to TV due to the way the HDMI ports are built for TV (INPUT only).
