“What amount clearance is necessary alongside a wall in order to open the door all the way, pull out drawers, etc? That is, if there is a wall along the right hand side, how far from the wall does the fridge need to be? Thanks!”

If you are installing your refrigerator next to a fixed wall, you must leave 3 3/4 minimum on the hinge side to not only allow the door to swing open but to ensure proper ventilation. Hopefully this information is beneficial to you. Thank you for your inquiry regarding our Amana appliances!
