Go to the Amazon.com website & go to "my account", then click "manage my content & devices", then click "device". Write down the exact make, model & year of your Kindle. Then go to contact us. There is a section where you can ask that they call you. When you speak to them they will troubleshoot your Kindle to see if they can reboot it. **Make sure you fully charge your kindle prior to contacting Amazon. If they can reboot it then they will talk you through moving your content to your husband's Kindle.
