Yes it will work just fine. As long as her tv has an HDMI port on the back of the tv.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It will work with any TV with an HDMI. This makes your TV a smart TV. We actually have it set up on a TV that is about 9 years old and not a smart TV. Hope this helps!!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, it is EXCELLENT! I don't have any smart TVs and I have an AMAZON fire cube hooked up to them all. Thanks to this last purchase, I have decided to cut the cord with Direct TV after 17 years. The fire cubes and fire sticks have apps attached to them. She, or you, can pick or choose what she wants to watch.
