Fire TV, is the leader in flexibility of use and value. I have sold them for years and every customer has been satisfied. Apple doesn't compare to Amazon's capabilities, not even close.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The answer to this question depends on the type of equipment you already have. If you already are in the apple ecosystem then by all means AppleTV will be seamlessly integrate it because you can’t stream and play media from your computer or phone through the Apple TV wirelessly. That does not mean that if you don’t have Apple equipment that Apple TV is not useful it is but you would have to go about playing the media a different way. Me and my wife love the Amazon equipment, only because it’s quite compatible we have Amazon prime. If you have Amazon prime and other Internet streaming media then I would definitely tell you to go ahead and get the fire stick.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.That really depends on what you plan on doing with it. Much like with any Apple device you are restricted to the app store and there developers. The Fire Stick is an Android based system that allows for loading apps not cleared though Amazons Dev team. Truth be told I'm a 100% Apple guy, phones, Macs, iPads, watch, etc. You name it I have it, however when it comes to streaming devices, I went with Amazon. I also use Amazon for my smart home, IE Echo devices.
