If your parrot's squawking sounds like the word "Computer" "Dot" "Alexa" the unit will glow blue and wait for a command. It will most likely mute your TV/AV receiver temporarily until it receives the next command or times out. Sometimes even the TV will convince Alexa to wake up. When this happens the Alexa mutes all other things around it in hopes that it receives the voice command from you, or your parrot. Enjoy!
