• I don't know the full answer to your question but in my setup the Sony sound bar I'm using is NOT 4k capable...neither is my TV. Yet the Fire TV, Soundbar and TV are working well. Beyond my configuration I couldn't tell you if you could expect 4K quality when passing the all your HDMI connections (including the Fire TV Cube) through a 1080p based sound bar. Hope that helps a little.

• I believe I can say yes it does...one does not have anything to do with the other and in fact offers enhanced sound and can connect to the sound bar wirelessly with Bluetooth! Should work well for you.

• Yeah. You can connect the tv, the cube or a receiver to the soundbar depending on your set up. You should be good

• I didn’t know sound bars are effected or require 4K ? But I can tell you it works with my Sonos .sorry couldn’t help .
