• I am 99% sure you cannot run the Cube through a desktop, laptop or tablet. Why? Because the Cube is designed to work with TVs, particularly SMART TVs. The Cube cannot control any of a computer's functions as it does with a TV. You can call 1 888 280-4331 for the Fire TV Cube specialist to confirm.

• this does not operate with your home computer. You plug it directly into your TV and pair it with your wifi connection. You can pair this to other alexa devices so you can use voice command without having to use the controller.
