I wouldn't say a full replacement, but it does allow you to control your volume and turn the TV on/off with the Firestick remote. There are no number buttons for channels.

If you were wondering about the replacement remote that is sold by Best Buy, that one is compatible with Fire TV Stick Lite, Fire TV Stick (2nd Gen and later), Fire TV Stick 4K, Fire TV Stick 4K Max, Fire TV Cube (1st Gen and later), and Fire TV (3rd Gen, Pendant Design).
