The Fire remote Lite will not control any of your TV functions (volume, power etc.) so you would need that Fire remote AND your TV remote to watch programming. I don't find it to be any trouble or any extra hassle, really. I was more concerned with price than having my Fire Stick remote work my TV so I got this and it has been great.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi Rhonda! The difference between the Lite version and the regular Fire TV Stick is the presence of dedicated TV controls on the remote. All other functionality is the same, you just cannot control the TV power or volume from your remote like on the other models. Thanks for your question, have a great day!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Has no volume or power controls. The 3rd gen and 4k and 4k max does have those controls. On the lite version you would have to use remote that came with tv.. For sound and power only
