“I purchased a Toshiba TV that came with a fire stick remote. I've recently changed cable providers and they need the remote to program the tv to make the tv work. The remote has been lost and I hate to buy a remote just to program the tv. Any suggestions?”

To go to an Android app store on your phone or the Apple App Store on your phone and download the Fire TV app and it will work with your TV. I included a picture below what Fire TV app looks like
