“The HDMI ports on my flat screen are in a recessed area on the back. An older Firestick, that was given to me, is too long to be inserted into the port, as it won't fit into the recess. What is the overall length of the current Firesticks available?”

Hello! Fire TV Stick Lite comes with an approx 5 meter long USB cable for power supply. They also come with an HDMI extender that will allow you to insert into recess ports. Have a great day!

You should be able to purchase them on Amazon, I have seen people purchase a longer pigtail male to female just so their fire stick is not behind the TV and accessible.
