Is the fire tv stick much slower than the fire tv box? null

I have the fire tv box and know how it performs. I also have had several new fire sticks as well. I feel they perform nearly the same. Each having its own benefits, but performance is very similar.

I found it works as fast as my isp provides. No buffering at all.

I wouldnt say much slower but obviously the box is better as it has more slots like expandable memory, usb etc. as well as it is 4K capable.

If its a gen 1 firestick. The answer clearly is yes it's slower. The gen 2 (with Alexa) is much better. I have both and the fire tv. Which one I suggest to get depends on what you're using it for. If you are putting other programs like Kodi, Mobdro, Set, ETC... than get the fire tv. It will stream much better. Plus the fire tv can be hardwired or go wireless for the internet, and the firestick only uses wireless. Hope this helps

The 2nd generation fire stick is much faster than the predecessor. The strength of your wireless is the most important factor.
