There's a streaming control button that may offer local news, depending on your area.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Get the one from Best Buy. Just see if your cousin is able to help you install KODI, and with the general setup for getting the most out of it. My cousin lives in Tarrant county, and she programmed both of mine while I was there. I live in East Texas, and the only thing I had to do was plug them in. Then use the TV remote to turn it on, then press Input. Move to the different areas available for equipment hooked up to the TV, and press HDMI2 or HDMI3 to get the one the Fire Stick is plugged into. It's gonna be searching for the Wi-Fi, find it, and it's gonna show what yours is. It will ask for the password, and shows Connected.

There's an App called KODI that you download from your computer, and if you have any problems with it, you are able to get someone to type in on your computer exactly what you're going to do with the remote to the Fire Stick. That's where you are going to see movies that are in theaters and on DVD's. Not only will you get the local channels, but you can get all the stuff that you get with cable or satellite except for the HBO, SHOWTIME, and other channels that you have to pay for. You must have Wi-Fi and some sort of antenna that you have reception on your TV. You're gonna be surprised at all the stuff that you can get and do with the Fire Stick. You're probably already getting local channels now, so that's not gonna change the viewing of shows. Shows that come on a certain day, you can't see it until 24 hours later. I've got satellite service now, and I record lots of things. My contract is not up for 2 years. I am going to get the least price plan until it's up. I will still be able to record, but I don't have to since I'm able to watch the shows with the Fire Stick. You're even able to get series that are not on anymore, and watch from the 1st series til the end of it. I've found things I never knew about, and started from the beginning up to current episode. You're gonna love it!!!
