Yes if you purchase this it will also allow connection to an ethernet adapter but requires several additional purchases so may not be worth the expense compared to purchasing a standard Fire TV. you can connect a whole bunch of accessories by using an OTG USB adapter. Here are some of the things you can connect to a 2nd-gen Fire TV Stick’s USB port {some examples are: Keyboard, Mouse, Ethernet adapter, or Storage device}

Please try again later.If you don't have a Wi-Fi connection from either a modem/wireless router combo, or stand-alone wireless router, you will not be able to use the Fire TV Stick, since it is the only way it can connect to the internet. There is a USB port on it, but it only works to power the unit.
