Most of the time when I get to a program I want to watch (Movie or TV show) It may start up right away and then it starts to buffer and I cannot get anything. It just keeps searching. I am using an older modem, can this be a problem null

Yes. I had to upgrade my internet service to the top speed and isolate my fire sticks just to that service. Works great now!

Yes, I would guess that this is more due to your WiFi or internet speed being too slow. You might want to try moving your router for better performance?

May be modem, but I had a similar experience and wound up upgrading service to higher speed. Lower Internet speeds will cause buffering issue.

This happened to some of my before and I gave this advise, check your internet speed that's the most likely factor. You can download the speed test App to verify the speed of your internet.

It sounds like your network is running too slow for this device. To ensure a smooth connection, you would want to ensure that you have a minimum of 12 meg speed through your internet service provider for streaming videos. If you have multiple devices connected to your network at once, you may want to consider a 20meg speed or faster (30 megs plus if you have anyone gaming on your network). Upgrading your modem and router may help, too, but if your incoming internet from your service provider is too slow, it may not make a great impact to your streaming experience.

Yeah a new modem would probably solve your problem, I never have that issue
