It depends on how they are uploaded. Most libraries use "Overdrive" which needs a Kindle Fire to run.

Please try again later.Hi, Most likely, as long as your library is set up to do that, but not sure if it can be done directly from library to kindle.there may be an intermediate step. I use an app on my iPad to get the book into my amazon account and then have it sent to my kindle.My library uses the “overdrive” and “Libby” apps. Through those apps I can check out ebooks. There’s a way to have the book sent to the kindle. This actually opens amazon and you check out the book and send it to your device. Overdrive and Libby are the same company and you’d use these if this is the system used by your library.Libby is compatible with my iPad and overdrive is compatible with the kindle fire. Check with your library, they may have tech support that can walk you through the process.
