Both are 300 ppi devices so there's no increased sharpness of the text if they are set at the same physical size. Think of the extra inch as extra room to fit more text. It's like comparing a 600 sq ft room vs a 700 sq ft room. If you fill both rooms with the same exact sized furniture, there's room left in the 700 sq ft room to add more things.
