• No, you can only read Kindle format books on a Kindle. However there is a Kindle app for iPad, so you can read your kindle books on your iPad or iPhone.

• When I download any books to my Kindle, they automatically download to my iPad at same time. My son just recently set up my iPad so that I can watch whatever I have on it on my Apple TV. Who knew 'old age' could be so exciting!

• Only of they're kindle e-books. If you bought the books from Apple then no. You won't be able to transfer them.

• If you purchase the e-books from iTunes than no, they will be DRM protected. If you purchased them elsewhere of got them from the library then yes.
