No, this case is pre-made with a camera hole so that you do not have to remove the case to take pictures. It is the only case that I found that fits the 4 th generation of the kindle fire 7 perfectly.

it has a hole in the back for the camera, but if you flip the front cover all the way around so it folds against the back [for reading usage for instance] then the front cover blocks the hole in the back.

you don't have to remove the cover to take pictures from the back. Take pics front or back with cover on.

check the back side of this cover to be sure if there is an alignment factor. take hardware to store and do a check for absolute resolution. they are good about ensuring roduct meets the needs of the customer.
