Yes, I think very few FPS will be left on the table for most gamers & their games with a 5600X compared to the high end 5000 series. Do your research with "How Much CPU Does the GeForce RTX 3080 Need?" benchmarks from Tom's Hardware and other reputable hardware review/test experts online. I personally have a RTX 3080 with my 5600X and it meets all my performance expectations. With my experience of the 5600X stock cooler and its preapplied thermal paste, temp is passable with basic tweaks like enabling PBO. Any overclocking that increases peak or base clocks, whether manual or using ASUS Auto OC, can result in too high of temps, and I recommend aftermarket for that.
