• It is base in an AM4 socket hence it should work as long as the MB BIOS is up to date to support 5000 series CPU so make sure to update the BIOS on your motherboard before trying to buy and replace your CPU, the only downfall on using B450 is it will only run on PCIe 3.0 rather than PCIe 4.0
