Yes, as stated before you may need to update the BIOS. However ASUS has support for CPU less BIOS flashing via fat32 USB, the instructions are in the manual for your motherboard.

Motherboards that specifically support these cpus were announced, like the asus dark hero. In any case, the bios updates are out and available, but you need a cpu to flash the bios.
