• Yes. If the power bank is fully charged before a power outage, I can get 5 full iPhone charges. The 2 ports will charge 2 products at a time. It does not use replaceable batteries.

• No. I charged it nightly even though it had plenty of juice left. I always left my hotel room with a full charge.
