I used the qualcomm port both with my iPhone (which has a Mophie battery pack so I was charging both) and the charger for my Apple watch. I don't notice any harm to either.

Yes, this device can be used on non Qualcomm devices. I have used it to charge my Sony headphones, my iPhone & my Fitbit. I have had this device for a little under a month, and have not seen any negative effects on the device I charge using the Anker Charger.
