The stand uses the contact with the phone/watch to charge instead of a wire being plugged into the devices. It doesn't use wifi network connections, so just make sure the devices are set on the stand correctly and it will charge.

1. What does internet have to do with anything?
2. This charger charges your iPhone, Apple Watch and AirPods 
3. You will need a usb type-c cord that’s double ended. It doesn’t have a regular charging cable usb.
