“How long does it take for the backup to supply power upon ac power failure? E.g. when power is shutoff to my modem and then restored it takes quite a while for the modem and connected oomah phone to reboot completely. Will this backup prevent that delay?”

Backup is immediately, but the slight delay may cause you system to reboot

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Thank you for your interest in our products. Yes our UPSs will provide power during a power outage to prevent your modem from powering off. Just note the runtime is limited so if it was a long power outage eventually the battery will run out and power off. The runtime would depend on how much power the modem draws.
