Press on the power button for 5 secs it will turn off the unit then wait 15 secs and press it again to turn it on. You will have to reboot your electronics.

Please try again later.I had the same brand name/wattage recently purchased and used from ten years ago and when the power went out, it buzzed and when I turned it on and off it still buzzed and when I unplugged it from the wall outlet it still buzzed. The message is that the battery is worn out. Usually, it will give intermittent beeps if the power is out and drawing from the battery, in which case you just turn it off.

Also when the power comes back online the UPS would be charging the battery. It shouldn't be excessive though but there may be a slight noise.
