A UPS shouldn't have any relation to that

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback about our UPS.  I am sorry to hear of the issues you are facing and apologize for any inconvenience it has caused.  The  UPS should note deter your computer from connecting to the internet. You may want to check how is the computer connected to the internet via Wifi or wired connection and confirm the connections are still good and check if modem or other networking  equipment if powered back on.
