• Thank you for your interest in our products. The BVN900M1 would support 480 watts of equipment so there is a chance that the desktop could overload the UPS. I found only that the power supply in the UPS is rated for 500 watts in this desktop. One of our BackUPS Pro UPSs would likely be a better option for the computer.

• Yes, but for that much power in your PC I would just save and shutdown after the battery kicks in. You will get a few minutes to finish things up, but save quickly.
